要旨
In this study, we investigate the characteristic of the poly-Si film prepared by the excimer laser annealing (ELA) method of a-Si deposited using plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PE-CVD) method on SiO2 / SiN / glass substrate (SiN substrate). The crystallinity of the poly-Si film on the SiN substrate is better than that using low pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD) method on the quartz glass substrate (quartz substrate). The grain size of the poly-Si on the SiN substrate is smaller than that on the quartz substrate. These phenomena are due to the difference of the crystal growth mechanism. The stress in the poly-Si film on the SiN substrate is smaller than that on the quartz substrate. For the crystal growth mechanism on the SiN substrate, it is considered that hydrogens in the poly-Si play an important role.

大規模システムの効率的な階層木分割手法

要旨
Recently,a circuit complexity of VLSIs,especially SOCs(Systm-on-a-chip),has been increased more and more due to the requirements of high performance and various functions,and their layout design has become a great di cult task. So that,circuit partitioning is indispensable to an e cient and superior system design,where the whole circuit is partitioned into sub-circuits of a reasonable size. Circuit partitioning is reduced to a graph partitioning problem. But the problem is known as an NP-complete problem,even if two-way partitioning of a graph with unity node-size and edge-weight.So,we propose a hier- archical tree partitioning method,where two greedy algorithms are executed in some probability. Experimental results show that the proposed method can e ciently make a good circuit partition,and it is very useful for a VLSI design.

要旨
It is well known that the basin plays characteristic roles in the transport of global scale hydro-cycle water with the orographic effect in cloud water −rain process and with the surface environmental effects in rain −runoff process. The basin quickens the relaying speed of cycle water transport when the excess wate r brought, or slows down it to keep the base flow in drought. It seems the basin has his own autonomous law in controlling his water. The Normal Basin Hydro-cyc le Rate, Sy, is introduced as his own law in this paper. This paper shows that b oth of the rain(R)~runoff(Q) analysis and the cloud water(CW)~rain(R) analysis c an be performed by use of Sy. The present method is far easier as compared with Tank Model, performed by numerous try and error works to find its structure and parameters. It is also shown that 1 hour unit CW~R analysis based on Sy is just a 1hr rain forecast work. Some examples show that the pressr rain forecasting method.

山口県で観測された地震波の特性に関する検討

要旨
In recent years, large earthquakes such as Tottoriken seibu earthquake and Geiyo earthquake occurred in Chugoku area. The characteristics of seismic wave are different in every area. In order to carry out the rational seismic design of structures, it is necessary to clarify the characteristics of seismic wave in each area. This paper aims to clarify the characteristics of the seismic wave in Yamaguchi Prefecture using the acceleration response spectrum. From the results of this investigation, simulated seismic wave was made. From the comparison of earthquake response analysis of the bridge using simulated wave and standard wave, the necessity of the setting of the seismic wave considering regional characteristics was shown.

要旨
In order to clarify the influence of pH on soil structures of one dimensionally consolidated cohesive soils, consolidation tests were performed on six soil samples in which pH values were artificially changed by adding sulfuric acid or sodium hydroxide solutions. A scanning electric microscope made observation of soil structures. It was shown that the soil structures formed by the consolidation changed with pH values and the kind of soil sample. Although acid soil samples formed flocculent structures, alkaline soil samples formed oriented structures. This may be due to the difference of electric charge of soil particles with different pHs.

VARIATION IN RESIDUAL STRENGTH OF CLAY WITH SHEARING SPEED

要旨
In order to clarify the stability of high-speed landslides caused by an earthquake or the volcanic activities, the change in residual strength of slip surface material due to the change in shearing speed is investigated using a ring shear apparatus. The shear displacement rates adopted in the ring shear tests were varied in a range of 0.02 to 2.0 mm/min, and the soil samples tested were kaolin and mudstone. The effect of the shear displacement rate on the residual strength of the clays is discussed in terms of physical properties of soils, i.e. the clay fraction, the plasticity index and the activity. In addition, the microstructure of clay particles near the shear surface reaching the residual state was observed by using a scanning electron microscope.

Cd x Zn 1-x S/ZnS/Mg y Zn 1-y S 分離閉じ込めヘテロ構造における励起子分子の発光特性

要旨
Luminescence properties of CdxZn1-xS/ZnS/MgyZn1-yS separate confinement heterostructures (SCH), CdxZn1-xS/MgyZn1-yS multiple quantum well (MQW) structures, and CdxZn1-xS/ZnS MQW structures grown by low-pressure metalorganic chemical vapor deposition have been studied by mean of temperature-dependent and time-resolved photoluminescence spectroscopy. Biexcitonic luminescence was clearly observed from these structures at 4K. In comparison with the thermal quenching of integrated luminescence intensity observed from CdxZn1-xS/ZnS MQW structure, the thermal quenching observed from CdxZn1-xS/ZnS/MgyZn1-yS SCH structure was suppressed by approximately one order of magnitude. The suppression was attributed to the enhancement of carrier confinement effect by the insert of MgyZn1-yS cladding layer.

In x Ga 1-x N/GaN 多重量子井戸構造におけるストークスシフトの温度依存性

要旨
Luminescence properties of InxGa1-xN/GaN multiple quantum wells (MQWs) have been studied by means of photoluminescence excitation (PLE) spectroscopy. The clear peak due to the absorption of InxGa1-xN quantum wells was observed in the PLE spectrum of the MQW sample with x < 0.01 at 4 K, and the Stokes shift was estimated to be 63 meV. It was found that the Stokes shift was independent of temperature up to 300 K. This result suggests that the large Stokes shift cannot be explained only by the effect of carrier localization due to compositional fluctuation.

A serious of triaxial compression tests were carried out for bentonite mixed sand under saturate and unsaturated conditions in order to clarify the mechanical behavior. As a result, the saturated specimen had lower shear strength than unsaturated one. The strength decreased rapidly with increasing bentonite content and were dependent upon confining pressure as expressed by the terms of internal friction angle and cohesion.

地方都市中心市街地における土地利用特性

This research analyzes the cause of the characteristics of land use transformation by carrying out the type of the habitation class in an established city area. And it corresponds to the variety of the ihhabitation classlt in a restored type residence environmental maintenance plan, sets a basic axis as formation, guidance, and control of improvement subject energy, and analyzes it from the viewpoint that the manual for close maintenance is required. This research aims at clarifying the plan subject about improving the environment of residences. It is the most important subject for the key of the stable habitation formation to be in the succession and updating of habitation, land, and a building, and to grasp the habitation environment in this time.

定期借家方式による伝統的民家の改修・活用システムに関する研究

要旨
In this research, iethe traditional residence reproduction system by the periodic rented house systemlc is proposed, and it aims at verifying the possibility of a system from planned side and technical side. Improvement and use system by the periodic rented house system mainly reforms the old residences which is the important element which consti- tutes the scene of town at a borrowers burden, and preservation and practical use of a old residences are realized at the same time by using an old residences as a rented house. The feature of a system is that a habitation term is secured at the time of a rental contract. There are two kinds in the method of security one is security of the habitation term by the special article added to old land and house lease law another is security of the contract term by periodic rented house lease law. From this, the long-term habitation for 10 to 20 years and large-scale repair of old residences house are possible.

籾殻充填木板パネルの断熱性能実験

要旨
The improvement of heat insulating performance is one of the major problems of traditional wooden houses in Japan. In this paper, the effect of chaff filled wood panel which was newly developed for house wall is discussed by comparing with some another materials. By the artificial weather control eguipment, the coefficient of overall heat transmission and thermal conductivity were measured. The performance of chaff filled panel is as high as the glass wool of thickness of 6 centimeters.

As for the traditional wooden house, the resistance to earthquake Noh play isn't made clear fully. There are few execution examples in horizontal load examination to make the resistance to earthquake Noh play clear.As for horizontal load examination enforced by this, execution in the small site is difficult in this way of examining it because large machine that it was completely installed around the building is being made the anti-power.This research was verified about the application of the inside establishment type load test device developed newly so that it might be the site whose thing in such cases as Machiya is small and horizontal load examination might be enforced by the resistance to earthquake experiment of the actual landlord shop.
