要旨
Asai et al. have proposed a cylinder with multi riblets in order to improve the lack of a cylinder with single riblet proposed by Saito et al. Asai et al. investigated the characteristics of the local scour with them under the hydraulic condition fixed to one type. In this paper, the dependences of the local scour with a cylinder having multi riblets on the experimental parameters which are the Froude number, cylinder types, a width of a riblet, water depth are discussed. The experimental parameters are varied systematically, and the clear water scour experiments are conducted. The characteristics of the local scour are influenced strongly by the Froude number Fr. When Fr=0.3, the reduction effect of the local scour decreases as the ratio of water depth to a diameter of the cylinder H/D increases. On the other hand, the dependences on H/D are not so much large when Fr=0.4.

要旨
Numerical simulations on Tsunami induced by west off Fukuoka earthquake are conducted. Characteristics of the Tsunami are investigated by varying a parameter of rake among fault parameters to 4, 30, 60 90degree. It is found that the maximum Tsunami wave height appear at Maebaru city and Genkai Island. The maximum Tsunami wave height is 7 cm when the rake is 4 degree. On the other hand, the maximum height is 72 cm when the rake is 90 degree.

過飽和系信号ネットワークのリアルタイム制御論理の構築の試み

要旨
Time loss due to traffic congestion is much greater under the over-saturated condition than under the under-saturated condition. So is the effect when signal control is improved. However, the control logic for the over-saturated signalized network has not been established at present time. So the purpose of this paper is to try to construct the real-time control logic for the coordinated signal system under the over-saturated conditions. Especially, paying attention to the coordination between a critical intersection and the adjacent upstream intersection, the control logic of green split and offset is described.

信号制御の最適化におけるメタ戦略の比較と制御パラメータの連続自動調整への適用

要旨
This research aims to find an optimization method that is applicable to the real-time control of offsets and cycle lengths and that is better than Genetic Algorithm (GA) from a viewpoint of calculation efficiency. For this purpose, some methods are selected from metaheuristics that is a generic name of stochastic search methods like GA and that intends to find a global optimal solution. Those selected methods are compared through application to offset optimization. As a result, ILS is adopted as a best search method. After that, ILS is applied to sequential adjustment of offset and cycle length. It was found that ILS was applicable to real-time control strategy of signal coordination.

Wall magnification of wooden shear wall constituted wood siding board is 0.6 times, and it is difficult to build house as a bearing wall. This research that is based on the previous experiment result, come out bearing force by differ from board width, come out advantage of through-bolt that get ready rarely large earthquake. Horizontal loading test has conducted with three test specimen which use through-bolt and differ from board width. As a result, initial stiffness of test specimen with high board has indicated high value, and wall magnification also has indicated twice or more value compared with the notification,

地域福祉施設「中村さん家」の改修事例
―公的助成制度を活用した民家改修に関する研究―

要旨
The purpose of this study is to examine repair contents of the traditional wooden house renovated as welfare home and to evaluate seismic and insulation performance of the house. This paper focuses a welfare home named "Nakamura Home" in Kikugawa-cho Shimonoseki city which was renovated by official subsidy system. The results are as follows. 1) The repair contents are mainly constructing kitchen, bath and toilet newly and fixing a slope and handrails, but the reinforcing seismic and insulation are not considered at all. 2) There are some rotten materials in north and west side. And the structure of main building is strong, but Zashiki and barn are weak. 3) The temperature of the living room is comfortable, but dressing room and passage are too cold in winter.
