要旨
Kunio Maekawa (1905−1986) played an important part in the creation of modern architecture in Japan. The purpose of this study is to clarify the spatial composition of lobby spaces in the Museums designed by him. This study focuses nine works published in Shin-Kenchiku and Kenchiku-Bunka, and analyzes on following three points, Shape of the Plan, Changes of the Section and Position of the Main Opening. As a result, nine lobby spaces can be classified four types: 1) one floor of L shape with a terrace, 2) one floor of straight line with a void, 3) complex of two floors with a void, 4) complex of two floors with a terrace and a void.

要旨
Sesshu is famous as the great artist in Muromachi era. The aim of this paper is to clarify the spatial composition of landscape paintings by him. This paper focuses twenty-one Landscape paintings drawn as Hanging scroll. In consequence, these can be divided into five types: 1)Intermitting and Rising, 2)Curving by both sides, 3)Curving by one side, 4)Zigzag line and 5)Contrast of near and far.

傾斜した幕が潜入密度流に及ぼす影響

要旨
Lakes and reservoirs often suffer from freshwater red-tide or freshwater blooms formed by Microcystis aeruginosa. Fences are often used to prevent freshwater blooms in lakes and reservoirs by controlling plunge flows. In this study, the effects of an inclination angle and a setting position on hydrodynamics of plunge flows are investigated experimentally. It is found form study that the plunge point moves upstream-wise and the thickness of the plunge flow become smaller when the non-dimensional setting position and the submerged length of the fence are small. It is also found that the most effective angle of the fence is 30 degree.

要旨
In this study, the effect of visitations on resistance characteristics in open composite straight channel is investigated experimentally. Two kind of modeled vegetations are used. One is made of polyvinyl chloride and has permeability and the other is made of acryl plates and has no permeability. We conducted the experiments by varying setting location and width of the modeled vegetations. To set the modeled vegetations made of polyvinyl chloride on the flood plain makes the water depth deep. On the other hand, the water depth does not increase for the modeled vegetations made of the acryl plate. Location and width of the modeled vegetation does not affect the water depth or the resistance characteristic remarkably.

草木の燃焼に伴うPCDD/Fs の発生評価に関する研究

要旨
Emission of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs) from open burning of fallen leaves, grass and wood chips was estimated. Combustion temperature of fallen leaves reached around 500-700 °C in open burning. The amount of PCDD/Fs extracted from bottom ash after open burning was 0.0087 pg-TEQ/g and 0.31 pg-TEQ/g for fallen leaves and grass, respectively. Combustion experiments using small-sized electric furnace indicated that PCDD/Fs emission at 500-750 °C was lower, and reached 0.052 ng-TEQ/g and 0.65 ng-TEQ/g for combustion of fallen leaves and co-combustion of wood chips and NaCl at 850 °C, respectively. PCDD/Fs emission from open burning was calculated and resulted in less emission compared to incineration of municipal solid waste.
