要旨
Crude glycerin as by-product of bio diesel fuels. For every 1 ton of biodiesel produced, approximately 100kg of glycerol is also created. It is unworthily waste for most small-scale producers due to the large investment in technology necessary for the refining process, although it is possible to refine crude glycerin into a marketable product. In order to reuse it efficiently, we conducted a field trial to confirm an effect of crude glycerol as an accelerator material in composting of felled wood tips. Addition of 1% and 10% of crude glycerol gave high fermentation temperature by 5 °C and 10°C than that of control for one month. As a result of fertilizer component analysis, crude glycerol treated compost has equivalent components to control. Furthermore, crude glycerol treated compost showed fertilizer efficacy as well as control in germination and growth test of carrot and Komatsu's green.

山口県における「高齢者街なか居住支援事業」の創設と取り組み

要旨
This paper treats the support project for elderly persons to live in central area reused vacant houses in Yamaguchi Pre. The purpose of this study is to show contents of the project and management way and to consider measure issues of the project. As the result, in model areas, managers cooperate with real estate agents and Architects and Building Engineers Associations to support contract and repair. In the case of a local government, many owners supply vacant houses because governments have a power sending information and be trusted from citizens. On the other hand, NPO is difficult to get owners’ personal information and collect management cost. So it is necessary to support making the most of government’s advantages.

冗長性を考慮した道路路線価値評価に関する検討

要旨
It is necessary to do effective maintenance management to operate the accumulated infrastructure efficiently. Some indices that measure the investment effect are required to perform efficient maintenance management by the lean budget. In this study, the road value evaluation that considered not only the economic effect but also the redundancy of road route was executed. In addition, ranking method of maintenance of the road by using the evaluation result was proposed.

水質浄化技術におけるDO改善性能評価方法について

要旨
In order to improve the DO condition of a lake or sea, authors are developing the liquid film gas dissolution technique. This paper presents a summary of this technique, experimental results of DO improvement, and performance evaluation method for the DO improvement considering the DO concentration of the water to be treated. This DO improvement method transforms the water into bubble clusters which essentially makes water elements of the thin film of bubbles. This method yields a large value of the dissolved gas concentration gradient in the water and therefore attains an efficient gas dissolution. Also, this method treats deep water utilizing the airlift effect by aeration in the shallow part of the pipe, thus saving energy. The authors have shown experimentally that the DO increment depends on the DO concentration of the water to be treated, and proposed the equivalent DO increment as an index of the DO increment which can be used irrespective of the DO concentration to be treated and which indicates the potential of the DO increment for the same working condition from the theory of the aeration device. The validity of this index was checked using the result of the present experiments.

要旨
In this paper, we propose the technique for improving the thermal environment of the tradition house by the insulation renovation and the floor heating. We repaired the tradition house by this technique, and did the measurement investigation of the thermal environment before and after the repair. As a result, it was confirmed that about 2−5℃ had been improved to the room temperature decrease in the dawn. And, top and bottom indoor temperature distribution was canceled by using the floor heating together with the air conditioner immediately after beginning of heating.

指数型混合則を用いた正則溶液モデルによる極性分子を含む混合物の気液平衡の相関

要旨
An extended regular solution model, in which an exponent-type mixing rule is introduced to the interaction term and a composition-dependent interaction parameter between unlike molecules is adopted, has successfully been applied to correlate vapor-liquid equilibria (VLE) of mixtures containing polar molecules. It is found that the exponent parameter is effective to represent VLE of polar systems such as ethanol + hydrocarbon binary systems. However, it is noted that the activity coefficient equations derived from the regular solution model become inadequate in the infinite dilution condition according to the exponent parameter. The behavior of activity coefficients in the extremely dilute region is discussed.
