要旨
Today, many local governments have hazard maps for an earthquake, a tsunami, and flood in Japan. In order to raise disaster awareness, it is necessary for people who live in a disaster area to understand and use hazard map before a disaster occurs. However, it has never been used well now. Recently, it is easy to graspand understand hazard maps and it is possible to apply to IT tools such as AR or GPS because smartphones have become popular. It is possible to make effective use of hazard maps. Therefore, the author developed using a smartphone disaster hazard map and consider it's problems.

Twitter における頻出語句ランキング表示システムの開発による災害検知の検討

要旨
Japan, our country, is a disaster-prone area and many people have been killed by earthquakes or powerful storms and large-scale water flood. For example, many casualties caused on March 11, 2013 by the 2013 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake because of the tsunami attack. In recent years, microblog service called Twitter been spreads explosively and the opportunity for people to disseminate information freely on Web is increasing. Twitter was used as one of the communication tools because lifeline system such as telephone stopped at the Tohoku Earthquake. Therefore, the author analyzed the utilization situation on Twitter as a useful communication tool during disasters and developed real-time display system by using frequent phrase ranking. Furthermore, the author tried to examine the possibility of disaster detection based on Twitter.

聴覚情報に基づく移動ロボットのナビゲーションに関する実験的研究

要旨
This paper discloses the result of the experimental study which explores the feasibility and performance of manual auditory navigation system of a mobile robot. The navigation is based on the sensory capability of a human which is refered to as the sound source localization. The operator is instructed to navigate his mobile robot to the location where a sound source is located, based on the auditory cues fed to the operator via three different sound playback devices for three different sound sources. The binaural sound which is fed to the operator is captured with a dummy head microphone mounted on the mobile robot. Experimental results indicate feasibility of the auditory navigation, provided that the interaural differences contained in the binaural signal are properly transmitted to the operator’s ears.

複数変量の制御を含む手動制御課題における簡易な手動操作説明モデルの構築

要旨
A human driver is expected to make multiple decisions and/or to perform multiple operations in parallel when he/she is driving a car. The driver has to track the desired road path while following the speed limit, and put appropriate distance with other cars and pedestrians to avoid collisions. The driver has also to cope with the changes of car response characteristics which might be caused by variations of weather, number of passengers and road conditions. A number of researches have been conducted to establish a mathematical model which describes the control action of a human driver under the context of model predictive control theory. This paper handles the same problem of modeling control action of a human subject engaged with a multiobjective control task. A two dimensional tiny driving simulator has been developed to analyze control action of the human subject trying to accomplish designated task under several different scenarios. Proposed model is a linear regression model where extrapolated physical variables expressing relations with other cars are incorporated as quantities related to control action of a human subject. Analysis of manual control action while he/she was operating a 2D driving simulator to complete the assigned task indicates that the proposed model not only provides an inference on how human control action is synthesized but also clarifies how much manual control action would rely on prediction might vary depending on the operator’s experience and control scenarios.

平面図形の形態的特徴及び配置角度の差による視線行動への影響

要旨
We have seen the arrow in various places in every day. When designing the arrows, and the combined extent to induce the situation and application, it is considered an expert designers, etc. It is necessary to adjust the selection of a shaped element which can affect the side view as intended. In this study, it is directed to a plane figure which includes a figure of directional, was subjected to visual search using the eye mark recorder. Thus, I have ex-amined the effects of morphological features and placement angle difference between the plane figures is given to the gaze behavior. As a result, tend to concentrate the line of sight to the overall shapes the top was observed. In ad-dition, by a change in the proportions of the triangle, the concentration of the line of sight was seen at the apex and its surroundings as apex angle is sharp. The effect of the arrangement angle difference, when the arrangement angle of the apex angle in the vertical downward direction, concentration of the line of sight is seen in figure below, when the arrangement angle of a longer form in the horizontal direction, distribution of the sight line was observed.

平面図形の配置角度の差による見えの大きさへの影響 ―正円を基準とした形態間の比較―

要旨
In visual communication media, a symbol-logo mark often is presented to a viewer as a plane figure. It has been reported a plane figure varies in it’s the psychological influence by layout angle in a field of vision, and the geometric relations of the figure are different from objective relations. By Kim et al. in the previous study, the type of form may be the same area tends to occur a difference in the size of the visible indicated. Also, there may appear sizes are different and changing the arrangement angle of the figure was suggested. Also, in previous studies of the Fukuda et al. and Kinoshita et al., using the shape of the arrangement angle of 0 ° to the reference stimulus, investi-gated the influence of the arrangement angle of the plane figure the appearance of the size of the case of changing stepwise. In this study, with respect to the circle, the difference between the plane figures and their placement angle with form difference of the same area has on the size of visible impact, and comparison of the size of the visible between each figure and an object that is performed to examine the previous studies of Kim et al. And, In this ex-periment, we found that as the size of inside angle is small when the appearance size of the plane figure is larger.

要旨
Vanadium bearing magnetite from the Otanmaki mine, Finland were studied by ore microscope and electron probe microanalyser. Vanadium contents in the magnetite are ranging from 1.32 to 1.87 wt % V2O3 , and average is 1.56 wt % for 20 analytical data. This value is somewhat little compared with magnetite from the Kohyama gabbro, Japan.

要旨
In the reservoir of Shimaji Gawa Dam, heavy metals, such as iron and manganese, liquate from the bottom because of anoxic water. To improve the water quality the equipment to supply the high oxygen concentration water was introduced in the reservoir. To make a high accurate numerical model to simulate the behavior of iron and manganese the time lag between the oxidation of dissolved iron and dissolved manganese and the oxygen supplement have to be modeled.
In this study, we propose the vertical one dimensional water quality model considering the time lag of the oxidation for iron and manganese. We found that the time rag can be fairly modeled by using ORP as a parameter for the oxidation.

湾曲した水路の横越流公式の流量係数の検討

要旨
In this study we investigated the accuracy of the lateral over flow discharge formulations for the curved channel of which the radius of curvature is constant. From the experimental results we found that the lateral over flow discharges are in proportion with the power to 3/2 of the over flow depth, so that we use the same formulation form as Honma formulation for the front over flow discharge.
We assumed three types of the discharge coefficients. The Froude number, the ratio of channel width and lateral weir width, the ratio of weir height and weir width and the ratio of channel width and radius of curvature were used as the parameters. As a result the formulation that the Froude number, the ratio of channel width and lateral weir width, the ratio of weir height and weir width assumed to be functions of the radius of curvature was the most accurate one.

縮小期における地場産業地域の事業所立地動向

要旨
The purpose of this study is to clarify the relation of the manufacturing establishments location trends and urban in the shrinking era. In addition to it, to reveal cooperation between those establishments. Therefore, We surveyed cooperation on the manufacturing establishments and those location trends in Okawa city of 1968-2013. As a result of surveys, the relation between the manufacturing establishments location trend and urban from the late 1960s to the present could be classified into four periods. Also, cooperation between those were found that adjacent municipalities is in the basic area.

河川湾曲部に沿う堤防の浸食機構とその評価方法に関する基礎的検討

要旨
Side erosion of the levee along the curved portion of the river and the consequent levee destruction are phenomena of great importance for river planning. Previous research works on this problem from hydraulic point of view are limited to the water flow, and there is almost no work which deals with it in the way relating the fluctuating fluid force and erosion mechanism. The present study aims to provide a breakthrough in this situation. It is considered that side erosion occurs by the destruction of the bindings between the materials constituting the levee due to the action of fluctuating fluid force of river flow. In this paper, the process is modelled through mechanical consideration and the direction of the treatment of experimental data is proposed. Also, the first step condition is given for the destruction of the levee as the consequence of this mechanism.
